PacoTech, Inc., a female owned and HUB approved consulting company, was incorporated in April 1988 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas. This group of trained professionals develops, applies and directs new techniques for controlling records from their creation to final disposition. We offer supervision of file moves, recommendations for and implementation of efficient record organization, retention scheduling and continued maintenance after completion of a project. Outsourced services are also offered for file room management, supplies management, imaging and large copy jobs associated with records management functions.

Each staff consultant employed by PacoTech, Inc. has a college degree. Prior to employment with PacoTech, Inc., individual records management experience was gained at major companies such as Sonat Offshore, Mobil, Tenneco, HL&P, Superior Oil Company, Peat Marwick & Mitchell, Compaq Computer Corp., Enron, Mitchell Energy, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Hutcheson & Grundy. The people with this expertise form the core of our consulting group.
Consultants have supervised information management programs in public and private industry. First-hand user experience enables them to assist the client in making effective management decisions regarding file room operations and design information management programs to meet specific user needs for processing active and inactive client information.
Consultants work on a project basis. When file areas within a company are identified for reorganization, a team consisting of a staff consultant, record analysts and clerical personnel inventory, reclassify, refolder, recommend retention and write a procedures manual. They train client personnel to use the new system then proceed to the next project. This enables companies to enhance their Information Management Program without replacing their employees with contractors. Consultants have experience in all facets of Information Management and are available to provide support to any outsourced contract.
PacoTech supervisors have extensive experience in managing outsourced Information Centers. They possess excellent people skills and maintain a good working relationship with clients. In addition to their own experience, supervisors often use our consultants as resources for file room improvement in order to further client satisfaction.
